DESIGN PORTFOLIO
Protonex Technology Corporation
As a co-op and later a contract employee, I worked on a variety of hydrogen fuel cell systems including solid oxide systems and P.E.M. systems similar to the one seen to the left. Most noteworthy is a first article maritime P.E.M. system for Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. I returned after my coop to manage the first production run of that system.
Capstone Design Project
For this project, I was working as part of a team of five mechanical engineering students. My specific role for this project was mechanical design and implementation. To learn more, see the experience page.
Instron
While a co-op at Instron, I worked on resolving a variety of engineering service requests. My favorite and most noteworthy one was the creation and design of two new pneumatic grips that, now released, can be seen to the left.

Keurig Inc.
Keurig was my first co-op,where I was involved in many aspects of testing and design of the VUE Brewing System, which is now available in retail stores. This co-op involved communication with overseas manufacturers and weekly teleconferences with China.
SolidWorks Project
This fun project was an assignment in SolidWorks for my Northeastern CAD class. It is a design for a mechanical locking box. The full dynamic assembly was built and rendered in SolidWorks.
Personal Projects
I am constantly working on different projects! I find there is not enough time to get to everything I would like to do. Currently, I am happily plugging away on my desktop CNC, learning ways that I can use CAM software and write g-code. I am also building a campsite at my girlfriend's family run cranberry bogs. So far, we have made a road, cleared the site, built an outhouse and a raised sleeping platform. Upcoming projects include: Arduino based automated watering system for outdoor plants, building permanent structure for camping, and installing a direct vent gas fireplace in my apartment.
