Driven by my fascination with mechanisms—and inspired by a desire to show my fiancée (now wife) how much she meant to me—I set out to design a unique ring box. Drawing inspiration from overcenter locking vaults, I engineered a novel mechanism that made the moment even more memorable and meaningful.
